Who we are
Notizli is run by Joel Breguet, Badenerstrasse 256, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@notizli.ch. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use notizli.ch, the Notizli desktop app and the Notizli connectors for AI assistants.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Notizli you accept these terms. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy policy. You must be at least 18 years old. If you use Notizli for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials safe. One person, one account: accounts are not to be shared, and you may not open several accounts to get around the free allowance.
Recording consent
Before you record a conversation, you must tell everyone taking part and obtain any consent the law requires, both where you are and where they are. In Switzerland, recording a non-public conversation without the consent of everyone in it is a criminal offence (Art. 179bis and 179ter of the Swiss Criminal Code), and other countries have similar rules. Notizli gives you the tools to record; deciding whether a recording is lawful is your responsibility.
If someone makes a claim against us because you recorded them without the consent the law required, you will cover the costs and damages that result, including reasonable legal costs.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Notizli to:
- record people secretly or otherwise break the law;
- process content you have no right to process;
- disrupt the service, probe it for weaknesses without our permission, or access other people's data;
- get around the usage limits, or resell or rent out access to Notizli.
The free plan
Notizli is currently free. Each account includes 10 hours of recording and transcription; you can ask for more from within the app, and we decide case by case. We may change the free allowance or introduce paid plans. Before you are ever charged, we will show you the price and the terms of the paid plan, and you will choose whether to accept them.
Your content
Your recordings, transcripts, minutes and notes remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only as needed to provide Notizli to you, including through the service providers named in the Privacy policy. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
AI-generated results
Transcripts, minutes, action items, speaker names, titles and customer links are produced automatically. They can be incomplete or wrong: a name can be misheard, a task attributed to the wrong person, or a decision missed. Check them before you rely on them, share them or send them to anyone. They are not legal, financial or other professional advice.
Other services
Notizli works with services run by others, such as Google, Microsoft, the transcription and AI providers named in the Privacy policy, and the AI assistants you connect. Their own terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability, for changes they make, or for what an AI assistant you connect does with your exports.
Availability and changes
Notizli is provided as it is and as available, without any promise of uptime. We may change, add or remove features. If we decide to shut Notizli down, we will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance so you can export your data. Your exports in Google Drive or OneDrive stay yours either way, so keep them as your own copy.
Liability
We are liable without limit for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited. For slight negligence, as far as the law allows:
- on the free plan, we are not liable;
- on a paid plan, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event.
In either case, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, indirect or consequential loss, or decisions made on the basis of AI-generated results.
Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you time to export your data; we may act immediately for serious breaches, to protect other users or the service, or where the law requires it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For changes that matter to you, we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Notizli after that date, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account before then.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts at our place of business in Switzerland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules and courts of the country where you live.
